Hotdog Fondue
INGREDIENTS
Hotdog Sausages
Hotdog Buns
Plain Flour
Butter
Milk
Cheddar Cheese
Pecorino Romano
Dijon Mustard
INSTRUCTIONS
Pop a Dutch oven on a low heat and add a Tbsp of Butter.
Once the Butter starts to melt add a Tbsp of Flour.
Cook out the Flour and Butter as you stir.
Once you have a paste start adding Milk slowly, one splash at a time until you have a nice smooth creamy Bechamel sauce.
Next, Grate 200g of Cheddar Cheese and 150g of Pecorino Romano into a bowl.
Add the Cheese to the white Sauce along with a flat Tbsp of Dijon Mustard.
Stir the Cheese into the Sauce and adjust with any more Milk or Cheese to get the consistency you want.
Next, add a pan of Water to the hob and bring up to a mild simmer.
Drop in the Hotdogs and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Pop the Hotdogs in your Hotdog Buns, pour the Cheese Sauce out into a bowl and serve.
