Jalapeno Burger

To make 3-5 Burgers

INGREDIENTS

18% fat Beef mince - 600g

Pickled Jalapenos - 400g

Burger Cheese slices - 8-10 slices

Extra mature Cheddar - 400g

Sriracha - as much as required

Chilli flakes - 1 pinch per Burger

Brioche Burger Buns - 3-5 Buns

Butter - 1-2 Tbsp

 INSTRUCTIONS

1. Take the Beef mince and gently massage together, without compressing it too much.

2. Take a small handful, and flatten out your Burger patty’s, make them a little bigger than the Buns.

3. Grate out the Cheddar Cheese, and place the Jalapenos into a bowl ready.

4. Place a pan on a medium heat, add a knob of Butter and lay in the Burger buns.

5. Gently toast the Buns, then remove them from the pan.

6. Next, turn the heat up as high as possible, season the Patty’s, and quickly turn on the grill.

5. Once the pan is screaming hot, lay in the Patty’s.

6. Sear the Patty’s on one side for a minute, then flip.

7. 1 minute on the other side, then flip again.

8. At this point, add the Jalapenos to the pan, add a pinch of Chilli flakes per serving and a little dash of Olive oil.

9. Turn the Patty’s again, and lay over a Cheese slice.

10. Add a good squeeze of some Sriracha Chilli Sauce to the Jalapenos, and mix.

11. Then, add a small handful of cheddar, per serving, to the top of the Jalapenos.

12. Spoon the Cheesy Jalapenos onto the Burger Patty’s, then place them under the grill until the Cheddar has melted.

13. Place the Bun’s on a plate, lay on the Patty’s, pop the tops on the Burgers, and serve.
