Ground Beef

Tortilla Wraps

INSTRUCTIONS

Pop a frying pan on a medium heat and lay in 5/6 rashers of Bacon.

Then, take a large mixing bowl and grate in 400g of extra mature Cheddar Cheese.

Once the Bacon is really crispy and golden brown remove it from the pan and pop it to one side.

Then we want a Dutch oven or saucepan, turn the heat down low and add 2 Tbsp of Butter.

Soon as the Butter starts to melt add 2 Tbsp of plain Flour and stir into a paste.

Cook out the Flour and Butter for a couple of minutes before adding a tiny dash of Milk and stirring.

Keep adding more Milk, a small splash at a time while you stir, until you have a nice glossy white sauce, this is our bechamel.

Pop a frying pan of heavily seasoned water on a high heat and bring to a boil, then chuck in your dried Macaroni Pasta.

At this point turn on your oven and pre heat to 180 degrees.

Cook the Pasta for 2 minutes less than the cooking time on the packet, we want it nice and el dente as we will be baking off the Mac & Cheese.

While the Pasta cooks add the Cheese to the Bechamel and stir until you have a thick gloopy Cheesy sauce.

When the Pasta is ready remove a mug of the Pasta water and pop it to one side, drain the Macaroni and chuck it in the Cheese sauce.

Add a splash of the Pasta water and stir the Pasta into the sauce.

Spoon the Mac & Cheese into a baking dish and place in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.

Next take some 18% fat ground Beef massage the Beef to bring it together but don’t compress it too much.

Then take a small handful and lay it on to a sheet of grease proof paper.

Shape the Beef into a Burger patty.

Pop a frying pan on a high heat and add a tiny knob of Butter.

Season the patty and lay into the pan.

Fry the patty on one side for around a minute then flip and a minute on the other.

Then flip every 30 seconds until the patty is ready, this will take about 2/4 minutes depending on the thickness of the Burger.

Remove the Burger patty from the pan and place on a chopping board and leave it to rest for a minute while we prepare the Wrap.

Take the Mac & Cheese out of the oven and chop up the crispy Bacon.

Scatter the Bacon over the Mac & Cheese.

Lay your Tortilla Wrap on to a plate and spoon in some of the Mac & Cheese, then, cut the Burger in half and lay on top of the Mac.

Gently fold up the Wrap and serve.

Enjoy
